Brilliant day's racing with Weybridge Ladies entering in the W.Nov.2x, W.J13.1x and W.J14.2x composite with Weybridge. The W.Nov.2x made it through two heats to the final, only losing out by a third of a length to Putney Town.
Weybridge Ladies entered the W.Nov.4x, where they won their heat and got through to the final and in the J13.1x through to the second heat.
See the Kingston regatta site for full results.
There are some picture from Birdman Photography: W.Nov.4x Final
Weybridge Ladies entered the WJ15 1X and WJ15 2X (composite with Weybridge RC), but unfortunately no pots on this occasion. See the Egham regatta website for full results.
Thank you to everyone who competed, umpired and helped in this year's regatta! The rain, thunder and lightning cleared in time for a cameo appearance from the sun before racing started.
Plenty of doubling led to some fast crew turnarounds, so well done to all those tired legs and arms for keeping the pace up and helping the regatta to finish right on schedule.
We hope you all enjoyed the day's racing, and look forward to seeing you again next year!

Weybridge Ladies (re)launched 'Amy', an historic wooden eight, with a few creaks and groans (from the boat), but no leaks.
The boat needs some TLC but the refurbishment will take place over the next few weeks and then the plan will be for us to take this wonderful boat to a few local heads this year. The girls really loved the outing and have signed up future rows..
Watch out for 'Amy' on the water.
Training in slightly warmer weather.
Results for 2K tests are on the training pages
Just the right weather for a spot of winter training.
The crews were ready and willing to go out (just off picture, apparently), but unfortunately the boards were on red...
